Westboro Baptist Phelps Family Actually Has A Sane Member

What a cool guy! I am so glad he got out of that cult and found his own path. So sad he has to have Fred for a dad. I wish I could talk to him. Even though I did not have it even as CLOSE to horrible as he did, I think we would have a lot to chat about. Your website is awesome!!

I think it’s pretty cool that he was raised around all that hateful rhetoric and still managed to form his own opinions.

Maybe there’s hope for us after all.

I completely agree that it is amazing that he managed to form his own opinions. When I saw those young people singing those horrible words and smiling, it made me sick because I feel like they just don’t have a chance. They aren’t even given the opportunity to form a different opinion because it has to be so deeply ingrained in them. But then seeing him, I realized that if one person can do it more will be able to as well.

They should love America because it is the wonderful land that allows nutjobs like them to run a violent cult tax free in the name of God. This is just my opinion but I think the government needs to step in and revoke their non-profit status.

If all of the kids were abused, why don’t they ALL leave the cult?

I was abused by religious parents, along with both of my siblings.
As soon as we were old enough, WE LEFT.

Lawsuits amongst family members are easily settled because the money is all kept in the family.
GLAAD is clearly PAYING THIS FAMILY.
