Gaga Fan Shirt is Catalyst For Discrimination of Gay Tennessee Teen

Lady Gaga has not been shy about supporting the gay community since she burst on to the scene almost two years ago.   As any little monster knows, Gaga sells a ton of merchandise on her site.

One of the more popular items is the “I Love Lady Gay Gay”  T-shirt.  This is a great way to show you support both Gaga and Gay Rights, unless you are a gay teen in Tennessee.

15 year old Cole Goforth, a student at Greenbriar high school in Greenbriar Tennessee, purchased the ‘I Love Lady Gay Gay” shirt at the local mall, and was eager to wear it to school.   The school was quick to make the teen go home and change his shirt citing it was a ‘distraction’.    The school even went as far as to tell the teen that if he was in California a shirt like this would be okay, but not in Tennessee.

Cole did not get in any trouble other than being sent home to change his shirt.  Both he and his mother are claiming that he is being discriminated against because of his sexual orientation.
