Gay Rights Causes Uproar in Utah Church

Last summer, in a very progressive move, the Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America voted to allow gay pastors to have life partners.

I personally would like to see more religions be open to such things, however this has divided the Utah based church.

Due to this resolution as many as 230 parishes may leave the church.  The video to the left is the local ABC affiliate’s news story on this article.

Not to sound cliche or anything… but don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!  I’m sure these people will have no problem finding another religion to cling to that preaches homophobia as holy.
